City-Ranch Dip

City-Ranch Dip

Dairy-, soy-, garlic-, and onion-free ranch-style dip that's low-FODMAP. Just like the one from the '80's, only better and a snap to make. Created for Super Bowl LI HFBC Top 100 List and MALK's "Will it MALK?" challenge.

By DeliberateFare.com and my Mr. Wonderful

Ranch-style dip was always in our refrigerator growing up in Houston in the '80's, and it was the only way Mom could get my baby brother to eat "little trees" (AKA broccoli). Now with my Mr. Wonderful being dairy-free and myself being onion-, garlic-, and soy-free, we needed to find a ranch-style dressing to suit our needs and still be delicious enough to offer at our football tailgates. Check out our easy recipe featuring two of our favorite store-bought items.

Sir Kensington's has a dynamite mayonnaise available in health food stores and online. It is made with simple ingredients, all of which we already stock in our City-Ranch kitchen. And, their mayo tastes more like my Grandma Sylvia's homemade Chilean mayonnaise than any store-bought ones I have ever tasted. Win-win!

MALK Organics Unsweetened Almond Milk is another awesome product that is in the refrigerated section of my local health food store, and it is locally made here in Houston, Texas, with only three ingredients: almonds, salt, and water. Without the gums and chemicals that other brands contain, MALK is perfect for our household's non-dairy milk needs. And, did I mention that it tastes like liquid marzipan? Seriously good!
